Four Huna Breaths
These four elemental breaths offer us a direct route for engaging with our internal states! The following Handout walks you through each breath.
Ayurveda & Yoga Breaths
Nadi Shodhana. Also known as “alternate nostril breathing”, is a simple yet powerful technique that will support you to settle your mind, body and emotions. Nadis are channels. This breath practice supports you to clear the channels of circulation, restore balance and regulate the flow of air through your nasal passage.
This is a great practice to use in the morning and at bedtime or anytime throughout the day when you seek to some into fully presence and quiet your mind. For women, it has been shown to be a powerful regulator of the experience of hormone fluctuations.

Relaxing 4-7-8 breath
The method, pioneered by Harvard-trained Dr Andrew Weil, is described as a 'natural tranquiliser for the nervous system' helping to quickly reduce tension and allowing the body to relax.
